5 Newtons got 2nd for collage!!! Remember the collage during April? If you can't recall just check out At that moment link. First place went to 5 Edison. Well they deserve it anyway, everything they used were recycling goods. Ah well, we'll take 2nd place anyway!

As first week of school for second semester ended, I'm quite contented about this entire week. First few days were down right depressing and piognant as exam papers were given back and I didn't achieve the results that I wanted. Never the least, life goes on and we learn from our unforgetable mistakes.

I'm feeling comatose at the present moment, I guess it's because I had to force myself out of bed this morning at 4.30a.m. The reason for it is my mom and I were running for the KL marathon 10km category. It was an enjoyable, cramp aching, adrenaline run.

Advice to girls: Avoid running when you're having your mens (you know what I mean), it is undeniably irritaing and you praticaly can't adjust it in anyway :\

I finished the run in 1 hour and 3 minutes, well that's what I saw on the timer anyway. I guess all and all it was a great run although I had and still having a massive muscle cramp. The KL marathon has improve drastically compared to last year's. I'm proud that I could run the 10km this year!!! Weeeee... I love running ok... >_>

We had a cute medal :D

Such adorable cupcakes

My mom was telling me how adults hardly rarely eat sugary food like cupcakes and cakes etc. etc. Aw how deprive.

Sometimes I wish I was a kid again. It is a miserable feeling to be not able to remember what I did when I was a child. I can't reminisce the good and the dreadful times I had when I was at kindergarten nor standard one until standard four. I can't remember if I was a cute angel of a callous devil, and the one thing I can't remember the most -and I wish I had- was visiting the inside Pudu Jail when it was opened to public.

It saddens me to know that I've actually been in there before but I can't recall anything about it. My parents claim that I was crying the whole way through because it was an eerie place and there were horrible noises. Whenever my parents drive by pudu jail -back in those days- I would always stare at the iconic building, which has the longest mural and ask them what happened. They would always tell me the same thing and I would always try my level best to remember, but to no avail, I wouldn't remember it.

Everyday -Ok, maybe not everyday- I wished that the Pudu Jail would reopen to the public again so I can try and hack my brain whatever happened in there. However, it didn't and now I've to face with the undying truth that Pudu Jail wall and its remarkable structure has to be demolish for the development of road.

However, I'm glad though that I'm no longer that innocent little girl that I once was. Sure being a kid maybe fun but you don't have privileges and prerogatives in your life.

I thank god I'm a 1993 baby!

And I also would like to thank those who voted me as your class representitive for Prom Queen. Thank you all so much!

A friend whom has made me happy for the past 2 weeks. A friend whom has helped me made wonderful memories. A friend whom I stay up late with for the past 2 weeks. It is sad to say goodbye to this friend. I can no longer see this exceptionally good friend until December! My good friend, Holiday!

In 45 more minutes, I can no longer be with Holiday. The gates are going to be opened and teachers would be giving us back our exam papers stained with their massive red inks. Some students crack their hands and asked teachers' for their assistants if they got an illegible paper.

As Holiday says goodbyes, second semester are about to start and we find ourselves facing one of the more crucial exams in our lives, that is SPM. Till then~

As said by Joan Rivers "Yesterday is history, tomorrow is mystery and today is a gift, that's why we call it present"

Ya I know, you're probably wondering why my family celebrated father's day on the eve. Well cause my dad didn't want to celebrate tomorrow as school starts on Monday. Damn, I feel like I've been neglecting my blog for such a long time. Haiz...

Dad booked a place at Oriental Restaurant at Jaya 33. It was a sumptuous dinner but it was worth it since it was delicious and scrumptious. Food is up on facebook if you want to tempt yourself. We gobbled down our food and guzzled down our tea. I remember I was a very ravenous teenager before dinner came!

The funny part about our dinner was we actually ate and watched football on TV! Haha. Well considering there were more males and females in my family, who can resists? I'm starting to actually like football for once in my life. Quoted by my form 2 history teacher, Mr.Jeya "I don't see the point of watching football, it's just 44 balls chasing after one ball." The atmosphere became jubilant, euphoria and exuberant. Since the guys supported Netherland, so my cousins and I decided to support Japan. Sadly Japan didn't manage to win any goal at the last few ephemeral minutes. Aw... The results were 1-0

That's about it, dad ordered four season, suckling pig, broccoli with mushroom -my cousin calls it shroom, fish with lemon, Spinach in soup, fat mee and the glutenous ball in ginger soup. My aunt also bought a cake for the whole family to share. In case you're little mind is wondering, yes it's the one above. At one point, I was so engross with football that I nearly forgot to take a picture of the cake!

Haiz, I can't help but feel a bit pressured again since my holidays are almost up. One day left, how crestfallen I am at the current moment. So many unexpected things as happen that I'm not proud of. However, I'm happy that I didn't have a sedentary lifestyle once again!

More pictures:

First time hearing 'Parents Day'

Hey, since it's football season, why not decorate the cake!? :D

The eldest man in the family, my lovely grandpa :D

So today I went out with mom to have some woman time and watch Prince of Persia. Honestly, the show wasn't all that to shout about. It's very predictable and I couldn't really see the fighting scenes vividly as the camera kept moving. Just my opinion though :\

Did I ever mention I despise little kids? Just this one little kid whom sat next to me inside the cinema kept singing by herself... mom and I told her to keep quiet but she still sang incessantly! Thank god, her mom manage to stop her and mom and I were having placid expressions again.

Really sorry syah I couldn't go to your brother's wedding :( Congratulate him for me ya ;)

A food craving is an intense desire to consume a specific food, as opposed to general hunger. That's what wikipedia says anyway :D but for Ee Wen's version, a craving is the need for something. Gosh I've no idea what's wrong with me these days. I've been craving this particular food, which you all know because it's so out of this world famous, and that food is MacDonald!

Haha sorry, I had to be dungu for moment there and just post the pictures. Damn, I'm hungry... :( It's been about 6 months since I had my last MacDonald... Haiz, I'm a deprive young child. Depressing isn't? XD

Another craving I'm having is the urge to play this game call plant VS zombies!!! Darn you Sai Kiat for not coming to school on Tuesday!!!!!!!!! I just found out about this lifeless game from a particular video on youtube. How extraordinary the world of youtube is...

Another craving is seeing my buddies D: Seriously, am I the only one who feels relatively lifeless during holidays? *sigh*

Well till then I'll shall get back with my Ipod, NOT.

What a productive day today was. The day started with me going to school and seeing all my friends there. I know, maybe some of you might be thinking "what the hell did you go to school for when your exams are over?" Well today, my school celebrated Teacher's Day. As dear Kar Chun prove his point by saying it was my last year in school and I should go, thus he manage to coaxed me to go.

The celebration was from 9a.m until 10.30a.m. We then went back to class for our so call 'class party'. Well there wasn't much to celebrate as there were only 7 girls in class. The 2 guys (Lawrence and Arya) magically disappeared after the performance and the other 3 girls went home. Since our homeroom teacher and assistant homeroom teacher was no where to be seen, we asked Mr.Pang (Pineapple Pang) to order pizza for us.

We had to wait for almost one and a half hour for it... It was around 12.10p.m when the pizza came and since my school ends at 12.30p.m, we decided to just eat there and then at the waiting area.

After school ended, I went with Eunice and Casper to one utama. We ate lunch at Carl's Junior and from Casper's point of view, it's actually worth it. Haha. I'm too idle to write down what he said about Carl's Junior. They left for Prince of Persia movie and I went to shop. I manage to FINALLY buy mom's present...

Tada~ Thanks for the ideas, guys :) It cost Rm48 Shh... (Finally right, Athirah?)

I also manage to find my new purse! Muahaha, not bad for a RM 28 purse.

After the outing, I went straight to tuition where I was feeling so comatose. Thank you to a certain someone for his strong arms as a pillow, wakaka :)

That pretty much sums up my day. Yawnz, I might just consider to hit the sack early today... Nah, maybe not *winks*

Other stuff:

I wanted to post this picture for a long time now, but I didn't manage to find the opportunity since with Mid Year going on and all. However, since it's over and I was scrolling through my phone, I suddenly remembered the picture I wanted to post.

The annoying hand written moral Project... Honestly, it is the thickest project that will ever be in my entire high school life. 104 pages Zzzzz

Goodbye hair, you shall all be amaze by my new hairstyle next week XP Hmm... or maybe not. Till then, ta ta~

Thursday, June 3, 2010

Oh finally, I went out of the quiet lonely house thanks to babe Athirah Zzzzzzzz. Do I need to say more? Our hang outs are always hyper, unpredictable and uncontrollable. To my astonishment, I actually spent money today! Yes, buying a magazine and a pair of shorts XD

So the day started, I met up with her at 11.40a.m, and we went to buy Nightmare on Elm Street tickets. Mind you it was only the two of us!!! We -or should I say SHE- managed to buy two tickets. We succesfully went in!!! Muahaha~

Nightmare on Elm Street

It wasn't that scary, I mean the sound and visual effect was there but nothing beats Thai and korea horro film. Plus the so call 'ghost' in the movie is a guy... I don't mean to be sexiest, but I find girl playing the role of a ghoul is much scarier than a guy.

*I hate ATHIRAH!!!* for making me watch this movie... but I guess that's why she's my babe, she's one of my few friends whom I won't mind watching a horror film with, even if it kills me

We bought a 1.10p.m ticket at 12.10, so we had one hour to eat our lunch. We went to Pasta Zanmai and ate pasta there. Pictures are up in my food blog. Yum~ The little piglet didn't manage to finish hers D: Well, I don't blame her, the portion is relatively big. I guess I was starving since I manage to gobble down mine :O (I know you're probably calling me a pig now, Chong Kar Chun >_> but I love food lah!)

After the movie eneded, we went to meet up with Car Lynn, Kristina, Shen Deng and Peter. They wanted to eat at Haagen-Dazs, so off we went to have our dessert for the day. They 0rdered a fondue which cost RM75, thank god there was six of us because the fondue was HUGE!

Tada~ (clockwise)
There's four ice-cream flavours (Chocolate, cookies and cream, Strawberry and vanilla), min sponge cake, love letters sticks, chipsmore cookies (Oh my god right?) Apple, strawberry fruit and banana.

Haha banana reminds me of Rehillbanana. *Sorry it's another on of my insane dreams that I had*

After that, we split up, Athirah and I went to collect her shoe and skirt. Dhaaren tagged along, he left shoftly after. So it was just her and me again, we went to Kitschen -that's where I bought my shorts for RM49.90, have a look that place is cheap. Then we parted around 6p.m

All I've to say is...

Thank you for the lovely day, babe :) hey, we didn't manage to take another picture! >_>

Isn't this tea pot set adorable? ><

Forgot to mention, I made my own maggie mee on one Friday haha. It was edible!

Tuesday, June 1, 2010

Well, my mid year exam has officially ended today (1.6.2010) which not to mention is also Li Jen's birthday. Happy Birthday.

Anyway, today's post is mostly about what went through my mind during NCC test today. It's a ICT test paper that we -KDUians- have to sit for and it's two hours! I think know for a fact that I will FAIL that paper. I practically left 70% of the paper blank and slept for 1 and a half hour...-.-

During my duration of not so peaceful sleep, a title came to my mind. 'The girl and her shadow' At first I was like, what the hell am I thinking about? Then slowly and steadily, images form in my head. Bit by bit the puzzle was unfolding itself, and before I knew it, I couldn't stop thinking about the title and the story that my head created. Seriously, I had nothing better to do during NCC...

I couldn't stop myself from sharing the story and here it is...

The girl and her shadow

The little girl came home to a quiet house. She was always alone in the house after school hours. She was known to be a latchkey child. She place her bag gently on the ground. She sat for a minute in her living room and stared out of the window. She could see a playground just in front of her silent house. The weather was tremendously benign that day. She stood up and went closer to the window. She saw little children running around with each other playing all sorts of kiddish games. She saw children sliding down slides, she saw children laughing with joy, but what caught her attention the most was the children's parents. She longed for the day when her father or mother would take her out to play. However, she knew her hope would be crushed as they were always busy with work.

The clock was ticking, seconds turned to minutes. It had been 30 minutes since she stared at the playground. She resisted but she knew temptation would take over her any moment. She finally surrendered to it and walked out of her house. She made sure the house was locked and she ran as fast as she could to the playground.

Parents looked at her anxiously, they all wondered where could her parents be. The little girl didn't bother what they thought, she just knew she was there and she wanted to have some fun. She first went to the group of kids playing catch, but they didn't accept her. She then slided down the slide, but the little kids dominating the slide didn't accept her, so she went away. She then went to the group of kids whom were laughing among themselves, but they didn't accept her either. They all had the same reason, and the reason was she was a latchkey child. She walked forlornly to the only place where she knew she wouldn't be rejected, which was the swings. She sat there and rocked herself back and forth.

The sun suddenly appeared out from the clouds, smiling brightly down upon the people on the earth. The little girl smiled and said 'Hi friend.' She looked at her only friend who would accept her. Her friend's name was Shadow. She's the exact replica of the little girl except she didn't have any eyes nor mouth. She swung herself in a boisterous way, all the while watching her friend, Shadow following her movement. She ran with Shadow everywhere. She felt accepted to the world with Shadow and she knew Shadow felt the same way too. She couldn't explain why she would only be bold when Shadow was around. She ran with Shadow to the slide and slided down the slides. The children were flabbergasted when they saw how contented she was.

Soon she fell back on to the swings, she was sweating from head to toe. Her friend, Shadow followed her and sat on the swings as well. She looked up at the sky and saw dark clouds filling it. Soon the bright incandescence sun was covered by the dark clouds. She immediately looked down and saw her friend, Shadow gone. The little girl was poignant and wondered where her friend went.

She felt a wet drop on her bare skin, soon it became two then three then four. It started to rain, parents rushed to their children's side and carried them back to their house. Some impish children refused to go until their parents dragged them home. The little girl was the only one left in the playground. Her cloths were soaked with water but she didn't care. She looked up in to the sky and wonder why her life was miserable. Her eyes were soon filled with tears. Her tears flow down her checks and she sobbed silently.

She saw someone walking towards her, she stood up and prepared to make a run for it. 'Come home, dear, it's raining.' She knew that voice, the only familiar voice which she recognized since she was two years old. The woman took out a towel and wrapped it around the little girl. Her bright brown eyes glowing as she carried the little girl in her arms. The little girl cried in her arms and apologized. The woman clam her down as she walked her home.

'I found her!' said the woman. An elderly man rushed towards them and hugged them both. He kissed both of their foreheads under the rain and thanked the lord. The little girl whom cried just a moment ago was now filled with comfort. Although she knew her parents were constantly busy from work, she knew they always love her and cared for her deeply.

The rain subsided bit by bit and slowly the sun reappeared. The man, woman and the little girl whom were still hugging each other broke apart and gazed into the clear blue sky. The little girl pointed at the sky cheerfully for she saw a rainbow. Her parents smiled at her and stared at it as well. The little girl stared at it for an ephemeral moment and looked down at herself. She saw her friend, Shadow being carried by a woman on the ground. Beside them was another shadow, a man size shape. She gave a tiny smile and bid her friend farewell. She knew tomorrow would be a brand new day and she knew no matter what, she was going to make her own new friends, purposefully.
