On a cold, rainy shivering morning on the 23th, I woke up at 6a.m and got ready to go to Nicole's house. I was praying that the rain would stop and that he weather in Genting would be a perfect cooling breeze. I reached Nicole's house at 7.40a.m and I slept in her room. When Cairynne called at 8.30a.m, we realized that we had overslept! Nicole rushed hastily to get ready while trying her best to give directions to Eunice. Eunice soon arrived at 8.50a.m and we talked in Nicole's room while Nicole still rushed to changed. Oh, Nicole has an adorable and cute little dog in her house. Her name's Natty.

Natty: Her bark is worst than her biteCairynne's driver, Uncle Hajiz came soon after and we set off tantamount to a bunch of crazy, excited little girls about to get their ice-creams. We stopped by MD to get our breakfast -well, to me it was my 2nd breakfast!
Our total bill. After we gobbled down our food and guzzled down our drinks, we gossiped, talked and camewhore in the car. The ambiance along the way to Genting was breathtaking and amazing. Mountains and Hill tops surrounded by white mist. I remembered I never appreciated mother nature when I was little, but now, wow! I stared at mother nature's work with glee in my eyes and with a sense of bewilderment and flabbergast in me.
As we went up even further, we spotted a car driving backwards on the road.

We finally and successfully arrived at genting theme park at 11a.m. We straight away bought our tickets. We were crestfallen to have bought indoor and outdoor ticket for RM59 because the indoor was completely useless. Nicole spotted a tree made up of... PLASTIC CONTAINERS!!! :D

Ok sorry for that, moving on! Our first and official ride was the Cyclone. We queued up for about 50minutes for that ride. While queueing up, we took the opportunity to camwhore some more.

First world. Why is it that it's so pretty and colourful in the outside but old and ancient in the inside?? That's just goes to show, never judge a book building by its cover paint.
There were many clowns in Genting, Pity Cairynne! She wanted a heart balloon really badly but a clown wouldn't make one for her! :(
Our turn finally arrived and we took more pictures on the ride while waiting for our so call 'car' to move.
And when we moved, we screamed like it was nobodies business just for the hack of it XD After we rode cyclone, we went to the Superman looking ride. I think it was a ripe off that we paid so much for the outdoor theme park and we have to pay another RM10 for that ride. Furthermore, it wasn't worth it at all!
After to our much disappointment, we went to the Thunder Mine Train ride in hope to ease our dreadful disappointment. To no avail, it was even worst than the previous ride. The Thunder Mine Train ride wasn't really a roller coaster, it was just a high speed train ride. I guess that's when all our bad mood and anger came boiling up since the atmosphere around us suddenly involved into a dark emo environment. We walked slowly and nonchalantly to Corkscrew in hope that our mood would change. We saw cute and adorable birds along the bridge and so we stopped to snap a few pictures.
To yet another disappointment, the queue for the ride was relatively long. I went to check out space shot and the go kart queue. They both were long as well, however the queuing lane for space shot was shorter than the other two rides. So with some add math calculation and brain storming, *chey* I suggested to Nicole, Cairynne and Eunice to queue for the space shot ride instead. We went for that.
We waited for about 30 minutes until it was finally our turn. Sadly it was only a 3 sitter ride, so we couldn't sit together. The down side was Nicole had to sit alone since there were no other sits beside us. SORRY NICOLE! That ride sorta pull up our spirit a bit because it was just amazing. My feet literally shook when I came down from the ride.
Since we bought indoor tickets, we decide not to waste it and go indoor for a while primarily to get a bite and check out the place. It was around 1.30p.m when we left the space shot ride. We walked all the way to the flying dragon -since I thought we could go indoor from there- but I was very wrong. We found ourselves in the theater and that's where we camwhore some more.
We finally reached indoor at around 2p.m where we got attracted to a 4D show and went in. However, since we had to wait for 45 minutes for the show, we decided to explore the place. We finally settle down in a food court and that's where we meet ah mah aka SUE ANN. We also saw Shermaine, Evonne, sheng Yang and one more dude -can't remember his name.
We ordered our food there. Nicole and Cairynne shared a chicken noodle while Eunice and I shared a pulut hitam. Nicole stole a bit.
After our much needed rest and satisfying our grumbling tummies, we headed back to the outdoor and went to the swing ride. We only had to wait about 20minutes for the ride and we sat on it. I miss that ride so much! Nostalgia hit me and it brought me back to the good old days where my cousins and I used to sit 10 times on the ride until we got dizzy from it.
After that ride, we went into a Beryl's chocolate place to buy chocolate and snap retarded pictures of ourselves.
We bought a few chocolates and we headed back to Corkscrew to check out the ride. Much to our luck, it was undergoing maintenance so the queue wasn't that long. We waited anyway in hope that the ride would open. While waiting, we saw this man playing a mini game and he won 3 TEDDY BEARS!!! THREE FREAKING GIANT TEDDY BEARS WITH 20 THROWS!!!! Cairynne bought 20 throws with RM10 and she didn't even win any... ah, it just wasn't her day.
There were a few man smoking behind us which really pissed us off a lot. Nevertheless, the ride finally was back and running, so the line moved and we found ourselves getting closer and closer to the ride. As usual, we took more pictures while waiting.
They call is Corkscrew for a reason ;) If you know what I mean.
After the thrilling and adrenaline pumping ride of corkscrew, we went to the so call scary pirate ride. We got carried away along the way and Cairynne wanted to try her luck on another mini game.
But, she failed. :( Eunice tried as well, but she didn't get it either.

After the mini game, we went to sit the pirate ride. The queue was short and so it only took us about 5minutes to get on to the ride. It wasn't scary at all, hence we shouted for fun. I guess that's why the queue suddenly became long due to our fake screaming. Gosh :\
We then walked around and took more random pictures. Since it was 6.10.p.m and we had to leave soon, we decided to just ride on one of the kiddie ride which was tea-cup-go-round! All four of us squash into the ride and we took more pictures. Nicole, Cairynne and Eunice starting spinning the tea cup when the ride started and that's when I just kept closing my eyes. My cerebellum had lost its balance and I was completely dizzy sitting there.
It was 6.30p.m and we had to leave, but before that, we decided to ride on the swing one last time for old time sake. We rode on it and round and round we went. That was a horrible idea because Eunice became even more vertiginous. It was 6.40p.m when the ride ended. Cairynne called her driver to pick us up and it turns out he wasn't there yet. So, we went to take more pictures!!
Her driver soon arrive and we went back down. Along the way, Cairynne lost her phone and she remembered leaving it behind. So her driver had to turn all the way back and get the phone. Thankfully a kind hearted girl found it and gave the phone back. So down down down we went, back to the city.
The night viewEunice and I followed Nicole to her gathering where we ate KFC and played pictionary with her friends. Eunice won a card game and got a chance to pick the first gift for the gift exchange. Nicole was runner up. That's where the fun ended and I went home at 11.20p.m with fun filled vivid memories with Nicole, Eunice, Cairynne and Nicole's friends.

Overall: The genting trip was an enjoyable and fun day with mix emotions along the way but with ebullient smiles plastered on our faces and my prayer came true with the perfect breezy atmosphere!
